O2 SIM Only Review
O2 is one of the UK’s largest telecommunications providers, and is part of the Telefónica Europe group that provides broadband and telecommunications services to several European countries. O2 has clearly worked hard to develop a selection of services and tariffs that reflect the needs of a wide demographic of mobile customers.
In order to compete in the mobile market, O2 has engineered a comprehensive selection of mobile deals and tariffs that have plenty to offer. The focus is clearly on great value, with cost-effective options for contract, Pay As You Go and SIM Only, whilst O2 has also joined the ever-growing Mobile Broadband market.
The SIM Only plans from O2 are called the Simplicity tariffs, and offer a range of different plans for O2 customers. The Simplicity tariffs provide contract lengths to suit everyone, with minimum durations ranging from 1 month to a year. Every Simplicity deal includes generous allowances, and most also offer the popular Bolt-On feature which allows you to add something extra to your plan. If you would rather have a Pay As You Go Simplicity deal then O2 can offer you a contract-free SIM which allows you to alter your choice of monthly allowances. O2 will even send you a text each month to remind you when you are eligible to change your allowance plan.
There are no setup charges for O2 Simplicity, and O2 customers can also enjoy free voicemail and free itemised online billing.
O2 customers paying monthly (contract or Simplicity) automatically qualify for O2 Priority, which means jumping the queue for tickets to events at O2 venues throughout the UK. Tickets for bands, comedy acts and spectacular shows are made available to qualified customers up to 48 hours before general release, so it’s a great incentive to choose O2 for mobile.
